We conclusively decided that we never, ever wanted to be in middle school again. But the skating rinks! I adore skating, so it's just such a soft spot in my heart, and the fic was just amazing and atmospheric and all the gushy things I already said. Plus, we didn't know most of the songs by heart, so one of us would sing a verse and the other would join in or we'd google it and laugh ourselves silly that we could still remember enough Vanilla Ice to harmonize. Whee!
