First of all, your icon shouldn't go without due notice. You probably replied with it last night, too, but at that point I was flying on sympathetic nervous system chemicals alone.
This comment is for both of you, of course.
You're entirely welcome, but really, I owe, like, a lot more than that one paragraph in the way of commendation about JPP because hot damn! The dialogue was alternately wonderfully witty and sweet. Chris and Joey (both of whom were eminently themselves but not to the caricature extent that some people take them). I loved that both JC and Lance wanted more at the end and weren't afraid to say so. And the hotness just was not to be believed. Your Lance was absolutely perfect, neither the sharky, dispassionate businessman nor the lovesick puppy, still every bit the genuine (I keep using that word) good-natured boy he is. I loved that he knew what he had to say in that bathroom to keep JC in his life, which was a moment of honesty that few authors could've written, or really, would've chosen to instead of having a big, angsty miscommunication fest later on that would've ended with one shutting up the other with a kiss and then a half-discussion in the morning. And like I said before, the pacing was excellent, especially during the sex scenes with balancing out Lance's thoughts with JC's actions. Loved this story, truly, thank you both for writing and sharing.
