My turn now.

I never really fall out of love with Sailor Moon, just go through phases where I'm more or less entranced by it. I love the story (frustrating as some of its aspects can be); I adore the ensemble of characters, that they're girls and saving the world on a pretty daily basis. The music for the series is gorgeous, too - there's a part in this song, from about the 1:00 to 1:06 minute mark that absolutely made my spine tingle. The melody from Serena's locket is still one of the most achingly beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard.
I have most of the series on cassette - anyone know where I can spring for what's missing in my collection either on VHS though preferably on DVD that won't cost me any vital organs?
One time for learning new things, even on summer break. Got me an education on what I adorably assumed was just an errant bit of fashion, nothing to really think even twice about when you consider all the other things the boys've worn over the years. Heh. How little I know.
Cleaning out the hard drive, part two - tonight, Smallville music videos. Dude, found one to a song called I Can Change - it's like a snarky version of Bittersweet Symphony and so funny I almost fell out of my chair.
The masochist within loves the phrase 'You're asking me to bleed' - it's such a visceral image, the emotions involved from both sides a certain kind of singular intensity that merits such a sacrifice.
Notes to people I'm too wiped to make through personal e-mail tonight:
xalxuffasch - Happiest of birthdays, darling. I hope eighteen does equally right by you.
slimslash - Got your e-mail, will reply as soon as I can form a constructive thought. *g*
giddyupnow - I felt it bore repeating that We've Got Challenge Tickets! I don't think I can further express my gratitude for the mind-meltingly pretty headshot, eee! The sum of yesterday has regressed me right back to the wee girl alive and well within.
walkingshadow - That old feeling is creeping in again. And I've got Telemundo and Interview just waiting for us to have a few hours free. Or you know, lunch would be swell. :)
I should go shopping for clothes at some point. South Florida's good for that at least.
