You're all familiar with my shocked face by now, right? Pretend I'm making it.

So, wow, my eyes. They burn. No, didn't try the goggles, but still having your contacts in and having sat in front of a computer screen for four hours at six o'clock in the morning will have that effect.

In other news, all caught up after skip=720! Reactions:

-Great googly-moogly, those JJBers et al must've gone to Challenge in a parallel dimension from mine. My boys were happy and fun, even if Justin was sickly (though he still smiled and goofed and played with his usual committed enthusiasm), JC was singed (though he still smiled and held that rubber band launcher even if he had to grit his teeth to do it, poor kitten), Joey was injured (though not dampened even slightly in spirit), Chris was a bit of a diva (but it only took a little coaxing by the right people and he was good again), and Lance,... well... uh, Lance seemed to be loving life all weekend, whatever he was doing. Don't bother him none that he can't play basketball, that people saw him checking in with a possessive boy. Which, honestly, should surprise no one and I will therefore move right along.

-Gasp! Shock! Practical jokes between best friends?! Weed smells from their and the entourage's quarters?! They curse and drink in the (relative) privacy of their own social circles?! Scandal! You mean they're not saving themselves just for me? That they don't lead Catholic-pure lives? I, for one, am floored by these revelations. Pass the fucking Kit-Kat, man.

-JC's only using two of the five released songs? You should hear the sad sounds of my heart breaking. I like his "polished demos" description though. I really enjoyed everyone's unbridled enthusiasm anytime JC's album was mentioned this weekend.

-However, touring with Tony? Not so much with the achey-breaky there. (ohmygoodgod!)

-[livejournal.com profile] allen_sama is a goddess among mere mortals. If I didn't already owe P my firstborn for FedExing me her ID for Crobar, I'd make the offer to her for www.nsyncgallery.org.

-Why yes, I did come home to *NSYNCLand DVDs. *frolics in footage*

-Found a community for PotC fanfiction. Expectations are about where they should be for an unrecommended forum, but dammit, I'll take my Jack/Will any way I can get it right just now.

-*checks the time* *lingers on the watch* Nope, new timepiece hasn't lost any of its novelty spiffiness. And if that's not a word, you'd be convinced this watch deserved for it to be made one if you saw it.

-Surprisingly (to me, anyhow, as no DJ down here has any taste in music) our local Top 40 station has Somnambulist in heavy rotation. This pleases me to no end, because yes. As it were.

As to quiz results, they tell me my "real OTP" is TrickC: Bendy, spazzy and angsty. What more do you need? Uh, that sounds nutritious enough for me. Still a JoLa girl (even if [livejournal.com profile] amuse139 is going to make me bleed for it), but you can't fight good logic. My personality test will have you believe I'm a level-headed cheerleader. This is a good lesson in considering your sources, especially on the internet, kids.

In other news, I love JC's hair without reservation, I'm doped to the gills on non-quoted real OTP fodder from this weekend, and dammit, I still want my girls back. Hope you all had safe, uneventful flights.

[ETA: So.many.pictures. Whee!]

How about a safe, eventful flight? Because really, I'm not complaining.

Still. In. Shock.

See now, that's the kind of 'eventful' I can get behind. As it were. (Man that boy reduces me to bad puns without even trying. Funny thing - I totally knew someone was going to run into him specifically on one of the flights home. Have I mentioned how glad I am that it was you? Yay!)

I so need my 'All You Need Is Lance' icon back in (quite possibly good and permanent) rotation. One month out of the year simply won't do.

I still can't believe I ran into anybody, much less my holy grail. And in a situation where I got not one, but two chances to talk to him! With a nice long time to think in between! I'm thanking all the deities I don't believe in, that's for damn sure.

And "All You Need Is Lance" is not a month. It's a way of life.
