I can't believe I had that much trouble getting that out.

As much as it pained me to tell [livejournal.com profile] walkingshadow who the killer was in the Law&Order!Sync AU, it now frees me up to babble incessantly about the story, have someone to bounce plot ideas off and assure me that, no, this was not a mediocre idea in the first place (my defense mechanism for dealing with a stalled idea). Although I can't quite believe how long it took me to finally manage the words that revealed what the killer did to his victims - to which the first thing she had to say? "That's so cool." I do appreciate the sentiment.

So with Chopstix and Coldstone in our bellies, we plotted motive (sociopaths usually have a type-of-person-centric motive, right? What about someone who doesn't care so much about who but what ahem, greater purpose they serve?), plot points (dude, the mailing of the Polaroids bit was genius, if I do say so), and I like this idea a lot "" again.

Hehehehe... Well, actually, the rentboy AU is coming along nicely. I'm even maybe sort of happy with it so far, which is a nice change from my usual writings.

And yes! Too Many People out of Love was also one of my first fics ever, and still is one of my very faves. I read it regularly, when there are no new gripping things around and I'm in need of a good fix. It is indeed an absolutely fantastic genre of fic, but I'm afraid I won't do it justice. At least I'm having fun writing it. :-) I've even made an icon to go with it and remind me to write, lol. Inspirational icon.

And you liked the Dom/Lance one, then? lol. Given the great number of mainly lotr fans on my friends list, that icon is never appreciated enough. I often feel like I'm the only who really appreciates the hotness of the concept. Mmmmmm.... Dom and Lance sitting in a tree, K.I.S.S.I.N.G.!

I make playlists for just the same inspirational purposes. :) It seems that the lot of this one is being set to Frank Sinatra, though there's a scene that already has Tony Lucca lyrics incorporated into it. We'll see. For now, the writing's happening, so I'm not about to mess with a good thing.

I am intrigued by this Dom/Lance of which you speak. They'd be so fun together! All sloshy and sweet and it'd be good-natured but still fun. Good luck and feel free to run it by me whenever, sweets.
