while there may not be apparent snow, the tops of the mountains that seemingly sprung up all around us are being obscured by some very purposeful-looking clouds. the landscape is exquisitely wintry - the bare trees, the deserted roads and wood, the cold railroad tracks, the tableau of gorgeous, frost-bitten world laid before and behind us reminding that Florida is the exception, not the rule, and that there's still a lot more nothing than our beloved metropolitan havens.
