There's nothing like wanting something and being able to have it without ritual sacrifice, accruing debt, or significant effort. Last night, it was a grilled fish sandwich from Cafe Gardens. We've never had dinner there - the outside perimeter is strung with rope lights and lanterns, the Florida wildlife maintained a civil distance for the most part, there was even a light breeze and really, that's pretty much the best you could hope for.
Wore my Striptified concert shirt around campus all day and mostly succeeded in not feeling self-conscious. Remaining issues resolved entirely as the girls behind the counter at the new Ben & Jerry's across the street individually chatted me up about Christina and Justin. They make a mean mint chocolate chunk, too. Mmm.
So, Wade and his gorgeously sculpted sweaty chest? *meep* I lust in deep, deep shame.
Read Bubble Gum by Cappucino this morning and dude. Dude. I was all about the Timbertrick until that ending. Totally socked it to me. Go read, it's beyond breathtaking.
Tonight consisted of good sushi, Starbucks coffee, and the general madness that our games of Trivial Pursuit tend to descend into. We made Conan's monologue in the Murphree commons and stuck it out through 'If They Mated,' a segment Miranda was ill-prepared for but rolled with soon enough. Good times.
