The way you talk about your Mustang reminds me of the way my friend jesspark used to talk about her 88 (?) Toyota Supra (also red, and stick shift). When she and her dad had to leave the car at the junkyard, she cried. She'd had the car since before she was even able to drive.
Now she's got a new red Tiburon, also stick shift. :)
