Package!

Extended birthday goodness in the mail!

First up, something called Turkish Delight, which invariably got Istanbul, Not Constantinople in my head. Upon closer inspection, the wooden box appears to contain some kind of soft, sugary candy substance which, rest assured, will soon be further explored.

Next, something that looks deliriously delicious called Edelmarzipan. Now, not so much here though not for lack of trying, but as a kid in Europe, my mother bought the stuff practically by the brick for me. The first ingredients? Sugar and almonds. Mmm. And some of these are cherry-filled! *is in heaven*

Our Challenge for the Children V escapade on one convenient disk! Movies and pictures of my girls! Plus various and sundry guest stars we encountered them over the weekend, fannish and actual celebrities alike. Whee!

Adorable card of a cat in a Mouse Club hat! You know, all the way across the pond and I had an official one, ears and logo and all. It's still in my old room somewhere. Speaking of which...

Pink! Mickey! Mouse! Club! Shirt! It's really, really pink, nice and distinctive. Plus, you know, absolutely hilarious. Maybe I'll wear it when [livejournal.com profile] slimslash comes, make myself easy to identify. ;)

Finally, making the package smell lovely, a Green Tea gift set, the bath parts of which I'll have to wait to use until I get home. Though, new house! Own bathroom! How I've waited.

*snogs Schiz of the illustrious [livejournal.com profile] giddyupnow duo*

Unrelated note: I was funny today. My brother did something colossally stupid, at the unfortunate suggestion of my mother, and as I was reaming him on the phone, I said:

"Do you always do what your mother tells you? I didn't think so, so why would you start now?"
