-Woke from kickass dreams to find that I had over an hour to spare before Public Relations.

-Also realized that I was also in time for the third rerun of E! News Live that featured Lance talking about The Most Talented Kid in America. Whoever posted that notice left out this side-splittingly hilarious quote, not to mention how incredibly hot he looked saying it:

Interviewer: "So, if any of the members of *NSYNC start dropping out, you think maybe you could pull some from the pool here?"
Lance: "Secretly, that's why I'm here. I am actually auditioning for, you know, the future *NSYNC members. Yeah. We're thinking about outing Joey and Chris; they're getting a little too old. So it's like a Menudo thing."

And then:
Merry Lynne: "[H]e was so freakin' adorable. He had that tiny little Lance-smile and was nodding so seriously while he explained his plan to repopulate *NSYNC with preschoolers."

We're not hurting for amusement here.

-Watched me some tightrope walking in the courtyard. They suspended bungee cords between trees and just went at it.

-Ran into my Journalism guy in the Reitz Union while getting actually superb Chinese food. Apparently, the key is the grill.

-Got the address of a cool media internship place in New York looking for unspecified undergrads (whoot!) at the same.

-Rob Lowe does an eerily good Shaggy. And testifying on SNL's CourtTV about what was wrong with chasing down baddies pretending to be ghosts while trespassing, with the occasional help of the Harlem Globetrotters? Too much with the outrageous funny.

-It was class for an interminable second but even that was mostly feverish scribbling storytime. It's evolving into hopeful-happy JoLa! Couldn't ask for anything more.

-Seriously, all friends should love each other as much and as shamelessly as the cast of LOTR does.

-I was just (gratefully) heating up some of my mum's food around 11:45 (that's pm, EST) when this strong wave of really missing her came over me for a moment. And then the phone rang. Don't do that, people, good lord. It's enough to make a girl check over her shoulder for someone listening.

There is, quite simply, *no* arguing with the genius of this icon, which is all [livejournal.com profile] proverb's:

*snerk* In the KIIS FM clip of Justin singing along to Michael Jackson's Working Day and Night, there's almost not discerning the two.

Dana Carvey is a funny, funny man. He slips into and between those impressions so smoothly and instantaneously.

Shoutouts, because I can irksomely let y'all in on only half the conversation, too.

[livejournal.com profile] isilya: I adore it! We match and really, it doesn't get much cuter than that. I may in principle disagree with his methods, but really, it's a more power situation.

[livejournal.com profile] xalxuffasch: Hope you shake your own soon. I know how this is going to sound, but just take a step. Really, that's all it takes, oddly enough. This huge thing and one little step. It's like dominos or a house of cards is the good news.

[livejournal.com profile] mimesere: Yes darling, I am in fact immensely cheered. I've said it all along, and it's only gotten more wonderful with each new part. *encourages* Length is good, promise! *g*

[livejournal.com profile] walkingshadow: I really would've cried without you, and I might yet looking at the screencaptures. Those downright slimy, Commie wanker weasels. History considered, it was in really, really poor taste.

And my playlist has been so, so good to me. It's funny when LOTR soundclips come up between songs though. A momentarily puzzled little 'huh?' followed by huge smiling because those kids are just precious. And mark my words, I will someday impress the pants off of all who listen by learning the words to Outkast's Bombs Over Baghdad. Maybe in a less politically incorrect time.

I should go back to sleep now if I have any hope of getting back there.

Some might say that we should never ponder
On our thoughts today 'cause they will sway over time
'Cause I've been standing at the station
In need of education in the rain
You made no preparation for my reputation once again...
Some might say they don't believe in heaven
Go and tell it to the man who lives in hell
