There's been a whole lotta JC love going around these past few days. For my own reasons, I wanted to see a few highlights all in one space tonight:

Did we mention that JC Chasez literally blew the roof off the room with a four-song performance complete with a live band and dancers? JC is destined to match or even surpass the success of his fellow band mate Justin Timberlake. It was without question the highlight of a night filled with outstanding new music...
-fmbq.com of his performance at the BMG Showcase (and those were industry types lovin' on him!)

[insert any number of times JoJo has gushed over him (usually with [livejournal.com profile] without_me on the other end of the line) in the past couple of months]

According to information procured by the same (Alicia, not JoJo), the tour (which will be!) will be in smaller, theater-type venues, and that just makes me mad with lust for October/November right.fucking.nownowNow!

"You better go out and get JC's album or I will find you..."
-Justin at the Buffalo Striptified soundcheck (paraphrased by nsyncsjuju on the JJB, with thanks to [livejournal.com profile] foxmonkey for the scouting)

Plus, because he wasn't busy enough releasing a single on the 11th and rehearsing for the VMAs, he's found the time to collaborate with Basement Jaxx on a track for their new album!

And on top of all that, he remains the undisputed owner of the title of Most Beautiful Boy In All the World, even with curious in-jokes embroidered across his booty.

Aaah, there is the love.

"Apparently, Congress is drafting a constitution for Iraq. Why don't we just give them ours? It's served us well for two hundred years and we don't seem to be using it anymore."
-Jay Leno

Truer words, man. We practically threw the fourth amendment out the window last week, not to even dredge up the absurdity that is the "Patriot Act" (for the record, I don't disagree with the intention with which it was drafted, obviously, but the overreaching powers it grants, which are so 1984 and ripe for the abusing it makes my head spin) or the death of the first amendment when war became a topic. Ben Franklin will never rest in peace at this rate.

Off topic, but further proof that my mom is grand: she bought me ice cream for dinner. No lie. *hugs her tight*
