*takes a deep breath* Man, that last entry took forever to type up. But 4,940 words later, I feel like I managed to do at least adequate justice to everything.

Watched a lot "" of Joe Schmo Show while typing up the Guavaween account yesterday. Man, that Matt kid really is a diamond in the rough. It's such a common sense but totally ingenious concept, too, like a satirical Truman Show.

Remembering some of the choice footage we watched on Friday night after Starbucks, it occurred to me that it was the first time I've seen them perform the Celebrity tour medleys. There aren't too many things in this world cuter than those five boys doing the Twist together in suits.

It would seem that Craig Parker not only saw fit to attend a costume ball in leather, but also read a passage from Legolas' Secret Diary at RingCon this weekend. To which I have nothing but happy, happy squeeful things to add. *meep*

Note to self: Radio Music Awards tonight. Also, look up journalism lab guy's hours, as much as the thought makes you cringe. Finish archiving and write that e-mail, do the laundry, maybe even vacuum and feel like an actual human being in your own space again.

Also, I'm totally roping Miranda into dueting with me later today for an audio entry. We're quite groovy, if I do say so m'self.

Where Justin introduces Beyonce, and I feel like I missed something. )

So, yes. Justin, baby, it's not that I don't appreciate it, but I can only handle one threesome a night, and that was supposed to be Lance/JC/JC.

But that particular set? *meep* Mind that puddle by your feet that is my brain melting out my ears at the thought. *fzzt*

My necklace broke this morning. I got it right after falling headfirst into popslash, five silver teardrops because deep down I really am just that colossal a sap. My neck feels naked and I'm keeping very busy not reading any kind of omen into the occurrence.

Miranda and I spent a delightful afternoon with [livejournal.com profile] slimslash and [livejournal.com profile] go4it. Susie came all the way from Germany to visit and she brought me gifts. I now have a matching folder to go with the JC notebook I use for History of Journalism and a JC marionette. She's just such a sweetheart in every way. Laura and I had previously crossed paths at some undetermined point during Challenge weekend, but it was great to get to actually meet her this time. We had lunch at Chili's, of course, and talked all kinds of shop. There was also much squeeing over pictures and singing along to Good Vibrations. Good times, ladies.

Best magazine cover ever: Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden huddled together tenderly around their newly adopted shaved ape baby, just one month after their gay wedding that shocked the world. Wow. I think I would've remembered that in the news. We howled, man.

Anyone wanna weigh in on the logistics of a Lance with two JCs versus a JC with two Lances? The consensus as it stands seems to be that the former would be a more manageable situation than the latter.

Lots of new music procured today: spankin' new Basement Jaxx and BT, as well as relatively recent White Stripes. Support the artists, yo, all the cool kids are doing it.

Radio Music Awards: JC is so sexy. Like, it's just outrageous at this point. That hair! The suit! *whimper*

In other news, JC has also kept busy posing as a desert renegade! And Joey is a lounge singer! I am in such AU heaven tonight.

And looking at the pictures of Miranda and I with JC somehow isn't making the whole thing feel any more real. I am a strange kid.
