We have tickets for Sunset and Anaheim! Woohoo! *snogs [livejournal.com profile] giddyupnow* So I'm really going to LA, huh? Not that there was any doubt, but each of these little steps is one closer to the reality, which won't really set in until I step off the plane in California.

I remember doing it for the first time in the summer before sophomore year so clearly. I love LA, I do. I love the pace of it, the seediness, the sunshine, the beaches, how it's on top of everything that's deemed of any measure of importance. Hollywood Boulevard, the Santa Monica Pier, Malibu's cliffside houses, the Pacific Coast Highway, feeling like there's always something going on and never knowing who you might run into just stepping out for a cup of coffee. LlllAaaaa! I really should make it out there more often.

JC looked very handsome in that black collared number last night. Rick Dees and Ellen weren't exaggerating when they kept complimenting how good he looks. And his trying to have a serious discussion about falling in love with an alien - she could be fine! *loves on him* Also, totally feeling him on how things are easier to let loose at night, and how the good ideas hit around 2 am.

Joey's new song makes me a thousand kinds of happy. Big band! It's totally my era of music. He's all Sinatra-esque and I can't wait to see him sing it in a suit.

Nothing interesting happened off my friendslist today. Well, we cooled down to an ultra-slow club mix of It's Gonna Be Me in Kickboxing, unremarkable save for that note JC holds during the last repeat of the chorus, which was even longer and digitized and downright spine-tingling. Mmm. Apparently, today has a theme.
