Home at last.
Nov. 27th, 2003 04:47 amThat took so much longer than absolutely necessary. Note to self: actually listening would've saved you the trouble of getting off at the Road rather than the Boulevard and about an hour of driving, not to mention creepy, unlit single-lane roads with nothing but swamp on either side. Let's not ever do that again.
Also, next time, no matter how fantastic a show Queer Eye For the Straight Guy is, you need to be hitting the road before 10:45, an hour's less driving or not.
<- not smart sometimes
The House That Porn Built is neither as big nor as porny as I remember it, though that may have to do with certain necessary mental gymnastics on my part given that my parents live here now. My puppies bore no grudge for my three-month abscence and all came to greet me, which was lovely.
My new room is big. Like, cavernous. No, really - it echoes. I thought I had stuff but apparently I don't, because I could practice my old dance routines without fear of hitting anything. And my own bathroom! First time for that, and terribly exciting. I'm thinking bath, since we don't have tubs at school. Mmm.
Hee. My toering clinks on the marble as I walk. Did I mention the entire house is covered in the stuff? That part is just as heinous as I remember it.
*yawn* Bed now. But maybe a sneak of the rugelach mum hid just for me first. *warm fuzzies*
