We made our own morning fun before heading out to the Wellington Mall, which is even prettier than I thought. My new favorite store ever is XXI (where I managed to find and buy the single most conservative khaki skirt despite a storeful of frilly, lacy, girly things), we bantered with the barista at Starbucks who doodled all over our cups, got in on a buy one, get two free sale (yes, I typed that correctly) at Charlotte Russe, had dinner at the California Pizza Kitchen where we hatched yet more solo!JC tour plans (and sighed dramatically that it would not be a joint outing with Miss Spears), and took our dolled up selves (with my making sure not to bend too far forward lest my beyond fabulous but incredibly low-cut top make me an affront to public decency) out to Regal for Peter Pan.
Cutest. Thing. Ever.
No, really. Take all the puppies and kittens and fluffy things and you'll not even approach the whole other universe of cute that spawned this film. I am beyond charmed. And so good! Though I fear if Jeremy Sumpter can smirk like that now what he'll be capable of once he's, well, capable of things. However, my heart belongs to Theodore Chester, who played Slightly. Lordy that boy was good, all four feet and change of proper Englishman of him.
So! Cute! Go see.
There was also a preview for an excellent film about tigers I cannot wait to see. Shall return to mall tomorrow for the Kiss Me, I'm a Pirate shirt then to cruise South Beach. Aah, vacation. We'll breathe your rarefied air to the last.
