But first, a few notes:

To Schiz: A thousand times thank you for the wonderful package. Pictures! The scarf! Y'all, I now own a Burberry scarf. And just in time, too, as the weather got cold enough again for such things. *mwah*

To Miranda: I am not only loopy and lame, I am also a sucktastic friend, as demonstrated by this entire week and capped off by that pause before answering your question tonight. I beg your forgiveness and hope that you'll still want to celebrate the weekend with me tomorrow night.

Lab was still at 7:25 in the morning, and that gets no less godawful with every passing day. I napped on and off for most of the afternoon until I had to make a two-page paper for Abnormal Psych happen.

The house phone was ringing when I walked in - Natalie, the other head copy editor from The Alligator, wanted to know if I could come in, which I jumped at. Laundry and reading for history? Pshaw.

Walked home with same coworker, another fabulous conversation. I really do like the people I work with something fierce. She also said something interesting about the difference being needed makes in one's life, which I totally understand. I forgot to mention this, but last Thursday's was the first issue of the paper with my name in the staff column. We love our sucky-hours, no-paying jobs.

Everybody's seen this, but I wanted it here. Love him. Just, love. There's something incredibly sexy in Lance sticking up for a friend like that. I bet he'd have a way to strong-arm bodybuilders for his boys if it came to it. Rawr.

[livejournal.com profile] fucking_jc made some tres pretteh JC wallpapers, so now the boy is giving my Internet Explorer icon the kind of covetous, sidelong look I aspire to seeing on his face about me someday. Or you know, something.

I've got high apple pie in the sky hopes on getting in on one of the radio concert things he's doing around the state, despite not being in reception range for any of them. This dissuades me not at all.

Quote of the Day:

So, Timberlake signed a deal for his autobiography with a German group. Didn't he learn from the last time he signed with a German group?

They're gonna be all, "Yeah. Sorry, Timberlake. You can't have Lance in your book."

Dude! Great classes, the boy kisses as fantastically as I remember, a Bernie Mac luau at the office, and now, new JC clips! The month of January has apparently been designated as one big party.

100 Ways. Oh man, this track rocks my socks. It's She's A Lady except sleazed up and mastered by Prince. Love it. Boy continues to be the campiest talent in the industry today.

Also, was I the only one snickering when he talked about being Superman? Wonder whose kink that one realized... *g*

Personally, I don't like the mastered version of Build My World. It might be from listening to the live version for so long and often, but I prefer that one infinitely.

I didn't vibe with Mercy, which to be completely honest sounds more than a little like Love Don't Love Me, then becomes Blowin' Me Up-ish at the beginning of the chorus. However, no complaints about the repetition of 'mercy.' The boy's voice is pure sex.

And, of course, still loving hard on She Got Me, though I prefer the live version of that one as well.

Whee!
