So glad I had the chance to catch up on my sleep. As noted, I've been basically been napping during the night hours most of this week. Mmm, precious sleep.

Finally got to hear the funky reworking of Blowin' Me Up on TLC's Clean Sweep. They play it during the fast-forward initial cleanup segments. Hee. His "killer interior decorator" self watches Trading Spaces, yo. There's nothing in all the world as charming as that Chasez boy.

Got invited to my first anti-Valentine, wear all black and come-enjoy-a-holiday-in-spite-of-everything-it-stands-for party. As I've been saying all week, I don't hold with the whole dictating how and when emotion should be expressed aspect of the day. Also, one shouldn't need an occasion to show one cares. But that's just me, and I took my best friend out to dinner last night, so take it as you will.

I really wanted to sit in a theater for a good, meaty flick Friday night, but alas nothing was playing, and really, I could've done a lot worse than late dinner with Jon (the gent even sprang for it, and good sushi doesn't come cheap in this town - *mwah* baby, thanks for everything) and extended edition Two Towers. Also, Hypnotiq Martinis rock the casbah.

[livejournal.com profile] crownzeal is a zany cat who leaves me silly voicemessages. You can see me in my jammies anytime you like, babe. ;)

I completely forgot to thank [livejournal.com profile] alittleblue for the JoLa Matchbox cars. Theirloveissodiecast! *g* Thanks, sweets.

Hm, I'm craving criminal!Sync. But I've read Four Ties and Flesh Mechanic. The detective!Sync story's been calling to me the past couple of days, too. Mostly, I feel indebted to do right by the Joey of that story, whom I love something fierce.

In other news, I'd do things more obscene than any of you would expect from me to see the boys together and performing as *NSYNC. For shizzle. Also, they should totally get their own sleazy E! special. How would anyone know they've made it otherwise?

I liked [livejournal.com profile] callmesandy's take on the Grammy shenanigans:

"Justin won exactly the awards I would have voted for him if I could vote, so I was happy. And as to his acceptance speech, he thanked *me* so I've no room for complaint (in the fans part, that's me, years and years). And really, he called it the best moment of his life so I'm certainly not going to waste any worry on him. I encourage CBS and the other networks to force Justin to apologize door to door to all the Super Bowl viewers, frankly. I watched the Super Bowl, I'd appreciate a visit from Justin."

I was there, too! It's not too long ago that I, myself, was a child they're now pleading to be thought of! Plus, I have three kinds of cereal and a lovely papasan chair. He'd totally be at home!

And lastly, I will forever and ever love this picture. Thank you and have a good day.
