Where the deer and the antelope play.
Mar. 15th, 2004 12:24 amHome again, and while life as a highway ain't a bad way to travel most days, I am seriously done with the Florida toll road system. Done! Why do people who can't merge and aren't comfortable driving 80 mph on my road?
Anyway.
Managed to fit all the foodstuffs mother dearest sent into my meager refrigerator. My puppy spent all morning sulking around, sprawled on me for half an hour and crawled under my bed when I had to finally start packing. Puppy! I missed her the second I walked out the door.
Lunch in Orlando with
flytofight and my copilot,
walkingshadow, was lovely once again even if the overpriced Cuban food wasn't. Although, I should reiterate for the umpteenth time, best.PinaColada.ever. In all of creation. Mmm.
Between pages, I really wish I could be working on that Justin/Lynn/JC that finally sorted itself out in my head. But then, my best writing seems to happen in the wee hours of the morning, in the throes of sleep/nourishment deprivation, so perhaps it's best I'm forced to wait until I get home.
Pictures of Justin on the set of his movie! Looking banged-up (but otherwise fantastic in burgundy) with Trace by his side! Daaaw. And JC with his obscene hair! Though I'd have to agree with everyone who said the one curl they left untouched on his forehead is probably the most nefarious of them all.
