release the burden that you're bound to
May. 7th, 2004 07:44 pmVentured out today for a printer cartridge, which a remarkable facsimile of KIIS' JoJo sought and sold me with a smile at Office Depot. Read, napped, finally caught up with Miranda on the phone, and at the rate gas prices are soaring, that'll be the only way I'll be keeping in touch with her for a while. Paid over $2 a gallon for gas today for the first time in my life, and ouch. I have nothing but love in my heart for my car, but fuel-efficient it is decidedly not.
*sigh* After tonight, I won't have been at every club show of JC's, and god knows everyone's woes should be so high-end, but it still smarts a bit. There are few things in this world that make me as happy as watching that boy perform, but giving in (which I came exactly thisclose to doing last night) would've been the epitome of fiscal irresponsibility, so I'll be content to sit at home, curled up with Amber's latest and my puppy, maybe indulge in something ice cream-y and wait for the enthused recounts to start pouring in.
