she asked for one more dance
Jul. 31st, 2004 11:43 pmShould've been hip to the N.E.R.D. show at the House of Blues in Orlando on Tuesday -
giddyupnow and I could've been there that night instead of Wednesday, knowing full well La Timberlake would put in an appearance. He played Senorita! I love that Pharell and Chad continue to be such good sports about his highjacking their spotlight.
Watched my first real chunk of television in over two months the other night. Man, I've missed VH1. That behind-the-scenes of reality shows thing was scaryscary, while the Top 40 moments segment recapped for me the past couple of years without any of the pain of actually watching the awful shows they came from. Lawdy, but I laughed myself silly at William Hung. So bad! Just thinking about the fact that he got a record contract makes me want to cry and vote whoever runs the label off the planet.
I'm to understand that, alas, Nick and Paris have parted ways. A moment of silence for all the pretty that could've been (and my icon here that I never got to use)...
Thank you.
Catch-up continues, blah-di-blah, sing you a new one. Working on that, too. Cropping and cleaning up pictures is bloody tedious work, especially when they're craptastic due to lighting and digital zoom. There are a few interesting ones though, and just so there won't be any nasty surprises for anyone, a choice couple of Jessie as well.
In the interim, there was more television - the Food Channel had a special on the Harmony candy company and discussed chocolate-covered gummi bears, which have taken over my life in a show of monumental futility as I've no feasible way to make them and nowhere to buy them outside Dr. Seuss Land.
Yeah, my life is hard.
giddyupnow and I stopped at CVS (we have those on the East Coast?!) for a few essentials Tuesday night. Which in my case meant 2-for-1 Arizona Ice Tea (thanks to the woman behind me and the cashier both for jumping to let me use their CVS card for the discount), Twist (cover: Did Justin Get A Nose Job? [The doctor's verdict is no. *rolls eyes* Same for Cam's nose and Lindsay's girls, though Britters didn't fare so well, and since I have no educated opinion on that, I'm not going to give it.]) and my find of the week, the US Weekly that inanely asks, Justin and Cameron ON THE ROCKS? Having been absent for two months from all things news and "news"-wise, excuse me as I GORGE.
( All the gossip fit to print. Which isn't saying much, actually. )
