everyone report to the dancefloor
Oct. 29th, 2004 04:36 pmIt occurs to me that somewhere in the six-hour music-downloading ORGY of last night - err, this morning, as it were - I should've taken a few minutes (yeah, right) to catch up on LJ and make a post, because hot damn, this is looking to be long. Bullet points then?
- Red Sox won, yay! My friendslist has me trained so well.
- Loved Wednesday night's Lost. Up until now, I've been sort of lukewarm on the show, but that episode was fantastic.
- Dinner with
walkingshadow and Staci was faaahbulous. We discussed Natalie not discussing with us that she'll be moving out Spring semester, which leaves Miranda and I with a decision, since we'll be all on our own come January. New digs at an apartment complex? Hope for the best with the new assignments? Also, I've come to terms with the fact that I just won't be passing up the chance for seasonal ice cream so long as they're offering Pumpkin at Coldstone. We have the most popular store in the nation! We also have the busiest Domino's. Aaah, the college diet.
- I can't deal with the number and variety of newspaper articles on voter fraud I've read within the past couple of weeks. The electoral process in this country is to weep.
- Hobbitses are real, you say?
- I don't think Justin's faux tattoos are hot. Let the excommunication commence. Lance, however, is made only exponentially sexier when schooling people at Blackjack. Truce?
- Also, JC is recording for the next record, and there's just no bad there. *starts saving for touring season*
- In OMGWTFBBQ news, Sekrit Service at my door? One can't idly scorn the leader of our not-so-free world without fearing cheaply dressed hellfire and brimstone? *meep*
-
plum_evil is all that is good in this world for sending me a link to Common People by the (Starship) Captain of my heart and Ben Folds, which lead to aforementioned orgy. Roughly five hundred songs later (may the powers bless and keep in good graces my Internet connection), I'm the happiest music fan in the tri-state area.
- The normally relatively sedate
giddyupnow is really funny when she calls me practically shrieking her fool head off in excitement and claims to not be "drunk yet." Hope the birthday was grand, love.
- Of course there are people essaying in HP fandom about the possible effects of a lunar eclipse on lycanthropes. Of course there are.
- Low point of Dow Jones test: Couldn't come up with Madrid for the Spanish subway bombings. High point? Fox aims below Belt for "Christ" headline about marketing Mel's Passion to Southern households and pastors. Win some, lose some you say?
- The Today show kids are funny. And
eisakay tells me Regis & Kelly are Britters and K-Fed - not respectively. I [heart] Halloween "a lot."
- Eva's got JC hooked on soaps, not that I'm sure it was a trying task. Bwah!
- Moe kicked our asses in Kickboxing this afternoon. I might not be walking tomorrow. Or ever.
