thank god it's Friday?

Woke up at 5 a.m. from a nightmare.
Tried to catch up for the news quiz for an hour on the cold bathroom floor so as to not wake Brandon.
Struggled to fall sleep for half an hour.
Alarm didn't go off, shower rushed, no time to blowdry hair.
Brandon was sick in the bathroom for 20 minutes before telling me to go to work without him.
Cabbie tried to overcharge me without knowing where he's going.
Had to walk a block in heels to get to work as a result.
Brandon arrived at the office before me despite leaving 10 minutes later.
Forgot jacket, am now sitting in cold office with wet hair in short-sleeve shirt and open shoes.
It's not yet noon.
