Oct. 6th, 2010 11:45 amI had forgotten how utterly satisfying Deathly Hallows was in many respects. The redemption of Snape, while melodramatic, legitimized Dumbledore's "power of love" credo. Speaking of whom, Aberforth is kind of my hero for laying out every way in which he was a shady bastard. And Harry's own realization that he was a lamb to the slaughter the whole time was a brave thing to do, tearing down the ultimate kindly father figure in a children's book.
