Sometime during the summer, I remember starting to write up a brief paragraph or two I'd like to say to each of the guys. Lance's turned into a letter (which I did actually send, big dork that I am). This was Joey's:
Thank you for being all that you are for Lance. He deserves space and all the stars besides, but you seem to make him happy just by being yourself.
Is there any real avoiding cliches with sappiness? I can't seem to do it.
Anyhow. This could be anything, really. It might have been about something specific, but I've since forgotten.
I had to get out of there, because if I didn't it would've ended by my saying something I'd regret and wouldn't be able to take back in the morning because I meant it.
Some good LJ-related advice for the relative newbie I was on my very first afternoon in New York:
You don't unfriend someone unless they killed and ate your pet, but in a fandom sort of way.

In other news, a very happy birthday to
powrhug. Kare's truly one of the sweetest, most generous people I've ever had the pleasure to come across. Best to you today and all the coming years.
It's lovely out today. After a top-down drive (grooving to Pop, natch) film for tomorrow's concert in Tampa has been procured. Unlike Miranda, I like sunshine on my face, warming my back through my shirt just maybe because I have a little reptile in my genes, too. And if your walk is leisurely enough, you won't even break a sweat.
