odds and ends
Sep. 24th, 2002 04:05 pmHeh. We spent three and a half hours baking cookies on Sunday night and three and a half minutes making instant Ragu pasta for dinner.
I don't have enough *NSYNC songs out of 3200+ for every other one to come up as such on WinAmp!
There's Lionel/Clark fic on the archive, and I didn't mean with an ampersand.
JC sang onstage with Tony Lucca, who's opening for Marc Anthony's tour. He wrote the song and they collaborated on the music, word has it. I couldn't be happier for the boy. Read a heartwrenching fic about just this the other day. The solo artist thing. All the good juju in the world to him.
I really am not terribly good at taking care of myself sometimes. I have to be reminded to carry an umbrella even as thunder rumbles outside, run to classes because while I wake up for my alarm I deliberately whack it and tell myself I'll get up in a minute, and yet. I have days where I need to write things like 'eat' and 'shower' on my To-Do list. I sit in my chair as my room gets darker not because I'm too lazy to get up and turn on the light but because I genuinely don't notice. Does anybody else's mind get away from them sometimes? Didn't Einstein leave his house without pants on once?
At least I had the presence of mind to wear closed shoes (with matching socks even!) when trudging across our sodden campus today. I'm choosing to believe that counts for something.
