Tuned in just in time. Apparently they got something ridiculous like 2600 requests since then and people calling from all over the world - he was #6 last night! How freakin' cool. They're also putting together a scrapbook for when JC swings by before he performs at their holiday concert, so if you'd like to contribute, this is the DJ's e-mail address: jeffmiles@AllTheHitsQ100.com. Of course, requests can be made via their web site or by phone: (404) 741-1005. *shakes pom poms*

I'm still debating on whether to buy the extra icon spaces. It would be nice, but I also like the economy and forcing of precision that ten makes for.

We filled out a survey in Reporting today. It was the first time I got to check 'yes' next to the question about being a United States citizen. It may have made me smile like a loon. And then I got an education about just how curtailed our first amendment rights are.

Since today was apparently constitution awareness day, I got a crash course on the 25th in the film The Day Reagan Was Shot in PoliSci. Excellent film, scary levels of flagrant incompetence and utter trouncing of the law, which was very much in place to deal with the situation.

[livejournal.com profile] plum_evil's package arrived! How amused am I that it was wrapped in the sports section of her paper with an article about NASCAR racing? *g* As totally not with The OC as I am, the tracklisting for her Seth mix looks awesome. Also, apparently someone called Stan Freberg is going to present the Early Years of The USA to me. As a proper dork, I am v. excited.

Saw a boy on my way home whose shirt read Betty Ford Alumni Association. Didn't quite know if congratulating him was the proper course of action, so I kept walking.

Uhm, the Vanity Fair cover shoot coverage on Access Hollywood? About made me swallow my tongue. Not that seeing Gale Harold in that pose is particularly novel, but it just doesn't get old. And with Carson and Kyan and all that leather... *meep*

In other news, Lance and Jess[i]e are sharing clothes again, and that does me a happy. Have we all seen how boyfriend's been smiling lately? I'm all for anything that makes him show his teeth in photos and get raunchy in a kilt, man.

I'm officially dropping Statistics mostly due to my own uncalled-for inadequacy. I'm finally going to see my lab guy today, but those prospects don't look good either. And with that, I register for next semester's classes tomorrow.

Quote of the Day:
"I tried to keep it sparse," Chasez said. "I didn't want to ballad people to death because I know I can do that. It's easy to start playing piano and get in the zone, but I'm beyond that. I have a lot of energy in me and I want to scream a bit before I get too into that."
-JC Chasez

With that and his song with BT being about lapdances, I am blissed out for the night and bid you a good one.

Lovehimlots.

Hee, I was wondering who would get that nascar article. I didn't go looking for it, really. *g* The mix should work on it's own, and since we seem to have sorta the same tastes, hopefully it'll work out nicely. Lotsa local (and local defunct *weep*) stuff on there.

And as for Freberg, oh yes, I think you'll like it. I'm crossing my fingers in any case. I was rasied on that album and it's really scary that I do a lot of little bits from there still. But if you've ever watched the old Bullwinkle cartoons any, you'll recognize a lot of the actors voices. But hell, the joke about America being one giant parking lot is worth it all. :)

Miranda and I burst into the Presidents Song from Animaniacs all the time and know the words to No More Kings and Fireworks from Schoolhouse Rock because of 12th grade A.P. Government - basically, we're fans of the educational programming. Is there a part two, as well?

Whee, see, I knew it was well suited for you! There is a part two (part one was done in the early 60s) that was finished fairly recently, but it's nowhere near as good. Actually, it pains me to listen to it. :)

See, I don't hold with that assessment. I think he's absolutely adorable in general, talking with his hands and being dorky and laid back and fun, but also very sharp, smart, and making good jokes. Plus, there's this delightfully pervy side to him and you can just see him stitching himself into leather pants and prowling a club without any problem, y'know? IMHO, of course.

I do agree with you, but there are just some things about him that I see sometimes that are almost undeniably cat-like. Besides, he seems cuddly, like a kitten, so that helps the image ^_^.

I'm sure you have a much better idea of what he's like, though. I mean, you got to stand next to him, touch him, be in his aura. That's one of the best ways to tell things about someone sometimes, you know?

It's so funny you should say that. I'm usually a good judge of character/vibe reader. Uh, that whole incident? Was so, so not paying attention. It really was not a higher-brain experience. But from what I've seen of his interacting with others and his sweet graciousness regarding me, he's as genuinely cool a cat as he seems. I can tell you he has fantastic abs, but more than that, I'd have to meet him again. ;) *hopes someone is listening*

Oh, totally see the cat thing. But it's like a tiger rather than a kitten, mostly unhurried but also very sensual when he so chooses to turn it on. Kitten implies innocence, which isn't something I got from him at all. But he is deceptively sweet, sneaky boy.

Hehe ^_^. I definitely see what you're saying. The kitty thing is just in general reference to cats, though, for me. I call tigers kitties, too, believe it or not. I also refer to a lot of people as a kitty or kitten. I don't know why. I guess I'm just a dork like that ^_^.
