So good to see our sweet, immaculate dawn again.
What was that about being able to take care of myself?
1. Remind me not to pull all-nighters.
2. Failing #1, make sure I eat some breakfast with all that coffee I'll need to make it through class.
3. Failing #1 & 2, take away any heeled shoes and nudge me occasionally so I don't fall asleep upright while taking a test/writing an article/etc.
4. Failing #1-3, make sure you send me straight to bed for more than two hours of sleep before I have to be awake again.
My body is so good to me, and I'm a failure at taking care of it. I've since acted on #2 and #4, eating lunch and sleeping 4 hours so my equilibrium is mostly returned, my heartrate isn't alternately rabbiting and slogging through the motions, my stomach is back in place, my vision isn't swimming, and I seem to be generating my own body heat again.
However, copy is done and the spot news speech tonight promises to be interesting. The pre-meeting is at Coldstone, and that ain't bad either.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
grrleloquence says it's ski season, and it's all I can do not to go running. Plans are in place for Schiz and Port Orleans hotel and Joey! In! Grease! Mother Nature, however, missed an inter-office memo somewhere in there because the weather is back in the humid high 80s. Uh, no, not even in Florida this time of year.
This is your daily reminder to vote! Apparently a few others have caught on so we get to spread the cheerleading around. *readies pom poms*
