Sidebar: Was there any coverage of the Luck of the Paw event on any of the entertainment news shows?
Anyhow. Aaw, my first threaded comments post! [/dork] Seriously, thanks to everyone who's swung by to gush - I've loved reading the comments on the clips and am so very glad I had the fortune and generous friends to make it all happen.
I hear something new on the tracks every time I listen. We could barely hear his grunting and orgasm scales at the show, but they're delightfully audible here. Next time though, I need to get close enough so you can hear what
coolwhipdiva was talking about - he's really vocal even when he doesn't have a microphone in hand.
I got so much sparkly swag in the mail today! First, my calendars I'd won off eBay a thousand years ago (and can I just reiterate how All About the JoLa Euro!Sync was? Yow.) as well as
icebun's lovely footage stash. Making of Pop! MMC! The Rolling Stone interview and much more. Thank you, darlin'!
And then I get home and find a voicemail waiting for me - they'd apparently released more tickets for the New York club show and Schiz was all over it, so now it truly is all over but the shouting. Which will happen, oh yes. Seriously, at this point I'm practically expecting to open my door and find them sitting on the stoop.
So I've been walking around with Build My World in my head all day. I've expressed just what that song does to me. So in the middle of taking my Advertising final in the Journalism office, I started sniffling and wiping my eyes, making the receptionist look up to ask if the test was that bad. Heh. I really could not have gone two months without hearing these songs again, so yay that none of us have to!
Aaand it's back to work with me. PoliSci prof gave me an extension on my papers until midnight, the gracious gent, so let's not disappoint.
