I am eating the blandest Indian food ever, even with the roughly tablespoon-sized portion of mixed ground pepper I put in it. Which is now making me thirsty, and our watercooler busted last week. But how do you make curry bland?

Also, I'm itching to write. God forbid if anything ever happened to my computer, it's all those lost Word documents I'd miss most. I'm actively working on four things right now, but even the languishing WIPs are precious to me. My fingers are literally tingling.

See, and I was all ready to call 100 Ways on Joey given the athletic sex and roleplaying, but with the 5'9" reference, it's now about Lance and his penchant for sex with JC including Superman elements, which is deliciously twisted, more than a bit tragical, and hotasfuck all at the same time. *takes a moment with her thoughts*

I really liked your logic as to why the other boys' homes individually wouldn't be suitable, but I was going for the logic behind why it was the combination of Joey and Lance that seemed the most... harmonious? You know, I was looking at the picture of him with Schiz and me (eee! I totally had a flashback/daydream moment of that in the middle of class today and grinned like a loon - poor prof didn't know what about colonial uprising was quite so amusing.) I was wearing about 2 1/2 inch heels, and he was wearing boots, no? So, at least about an inch of heel. He's got a little less than two inches on me in the picture, so he could well be anywhere between 5'9" and his resume. Maybe if he'd stand up straight. ;) But we wouldn't have him any other way.

Together Again is a song off of the eponymous debut, and there's a video. For which I can only see justification as far as making all the JoLa girls in the world very, very happy. It's a Christmas video, and opens with Joey and Lance decorating their Christmas tree before the other guys come over. It's just so uninterpretable as anything but blissful coupledom, the way it was done. It's darling.

Over the weekend, I was making a copy of one of the TRL JoLa OTL promo appearances and ended up pointing and laughing at how Lance was not possibly 5'10", despite what his resume would like to claim, because he was clearly more than an inch shorter than Joey. Whose official height is 5'11" or 6', yes? Lance was probably close to 3 inches shorter when he stood right up next to Joey.

Which means Chris is likely even shorter than his official height of 5'8". (Which ultimately left me wondering just how freakin' tiny Howie and Brian are.)

So unless Joe is actually taller than they claim, Lance would be closer to 5'9" than Chris would.

My delight in this has nothing at all to do with the fact that TrickC does zero for me. Nothing at all. You can't prove it. :g:

I think 5'9" is just about right for Lance. He's not a tall guy by any means, but he's not so short you notice it, if that makes any sense? He's juuuuuuuuuuuust right.

Back to the business at hand. I think Joey is at least 6' even given the pictures of us together at Grease - I'm wearing three-inch heels, and he's still got about that much on me, and I'm 5'6". Lance has a smaller frame, too, so he looks smaller next to Joey as well as the fudging on his resume. I'd say he's 5'10" standing up straight in his cowboy boots. *g*

Lance is definitely closer to 5'9" in either case, you're right. Hasn't he admitted that particular exaggeration specifically?

TrickC works on a very intellectual level for me. There's nothing sexy about it, but the way they relate tends to be interesting. *shrug*

I'm somewhere between 5'2" and 5'3", so they're all tall to me. Even Howie and Brian. :g:

I've thought Howie was at least a bit shorter than Chris, and I'm always shocked at how short Brian is when I see him with people other than his Boys. I think I tend to underestimate their shortness, because if you put them up next to Kevin and Nick of course they're going to look short, but then I see them with other people and think, "My god, they actually are tiny." I'd be interested to know what their official heights are.

No one is shortet than Drew Lachey, however. :g:

Even with Lance's smaller frame, I remember being surprised that I'd never noticed that much difference before, and studying the tops of their heads and eyelines to come up with the close-to-3-inches estimate. Although Lance could very well have been lounging hipshot (Bass? Who would think? :g:), which would make him shorter than if he was standing up straight, now I want to go back and check shoes, to see if they're both in tennies, rather than Lance having some kind of boots on ...

(It was the OTL promo appearance with Joey wearing The Most Awful Outfit Ever, with the Spam T-shirt and that dreadful paisley button-down over it, BTW.)

I tend to think Joey's closer to 6', too - which means Justin's gotten taller than that.

You know what surprised me - how slight JC is. The boy isn't overly wiry or short, there's just less of him overall than I expected. But then, I had no clue Tom Cruise was that short until I read it somewhere, either. Aah, adjusting for perspective.
