and not that i've come to any conclusions here, but i felt like i had a few things concrete enough to put down on paper.

contrary to miranda's observations, i don't hate women; they hate me, and upon first sight at that. they just do. i don't know why or wherefore, but that's just the way it is. i don't know if it's something about me, if it's just that they automatically see me as a threat or something equally silly, but venomous sidelong glances and curt, clipped conversations are usually the order of things as far as me and them. which is really quite a shame, as i happen to want a few good girl friends. i like girls. they're dramatic and gossipy and there are just some things guys are no good for talking to about. mind you, most women do annoy the living daylights out of me: the ones who do that little high-pitched fake sneeze sound, the ones who check their makeup before and after every class, the ones who are too dainty to dribble a basketball, the ones who don't eat dessert, the ones well-versed in nothing at all except the weather and criticizing others' not spending two and a half hours to get ready in the morning and having the money to dress in that week's fasion. most girls are cutesy cardboard cutouts. guys are more prone to be real, and fun, and bring out the adventure side of me - who's more willing to jump off piers because it sounds like fun? who's more apt to throw caution to the wind and go on spontaneous road trips halfway across the state because they heard some obscure convention or concert was going on that afternoon?

more later, going to celebrate now
