-Day started at 5:20 a.m. due to delinquent French homework.

-Which got done. Also, aced that test like nobody's business. Whoo!

-Despite yada yada yada-ing over the Boston Tea Party (?!) the other day, American History prof redeemed himself with a fantastic lecture and discussion of the road to declaring independence. There was protest, there was bloodshed, there were documents, there was much rejoicing. I am so darn proud of these colonists with nothing but hope and righteous indignation going for them in face of the mightiest, most well-funded military power of the time.

-The ex-boy (heh, I don't suppose that works) walked back with me, which is neither here nor there, and said he "won't be cursing [my] name tomorrow night." Great. Now get over the rest of it, and the next time he tries to kiss me, I will go with my first instinct and deck him.

-I don't have any angry music in my car. I really could've used some today after Bank of America screwed me something ugly out of a truly gross amount of money. I don't have that much money to be screwed out of. I told the less-than-cordial woman to cut me a check and go fuck herself. Except not out loud on that last one, though there was very little holding me back.

-On the other hand, the Wachovia people were lovely, and I'm now much happier with my account setup. Also, I may have walked in there seething, but Fox News was on while I was waiting, and a two-minute segment on the San Francisco gay marriages performed yesterday had me grinning by the end.

-One-way airfare to New York is $68, Los Angeles just $99. As much as I've been loving life here, I can't say it wasn't tempting.

-If anyone can hook me up with the music videos to The Darkness' I Believe In A Thing Called Love and Widelife's All Things (the Queer Eye theme song), I'd be forever grateful.

-Why a house would ever need more bathrooms than it has bedrooms, I'll never understand.

-I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer and cannot be happier that Spike lives on in the Angel-verse.

-I can't wait to see Jon tonight, eat a good meal, and see a good, long movie, probably involving lots of popcorn.

You know this is the part where I start to quote that Stan Freberg CD in my brain, right?

"Wonder where we can find a fortune teller that reads harbours..."
"All your S's look like F's!"
"...The Un-British Activities Committee, that's who!"

*groan* I have listened to that album entirely too much for my own good. *g*

And yay for Wachovia, the happy bank!

Hee, that CD rocked my socks, yo. History dorkdom for-evah!

Wachovia seems like such a good deal, yo. No monthly maintenance fee, savings and checking are free and concurrent - all the convenience, none of the hassle. Lovin' it so far. *g*
