Beware the Ides of March!
Mar. 15th, 2004 07:42 pmSee, I thought it was a Monday thing, but no, today is all thanks to those nasty Ides. *growls at them* They couldn't have held out on the torrential downpour for five more minutes so I could make it to work, and now my socks are draped over the computer tower, my pants are still dripping at the hem, and getting something warm would involve going back out there, which, no.
Ordered something cool from Amazon.com for a whole shiny penny, and it's always amusing when shipping costs more than the thing I'm getting. Also, must stay away from eBay. *sits on hands*
Weird moment: Steph, Casey, and I all had the same school colors in high school (green and gold). It's a small, small world.
My chocolate craving translated into a Milky Way from the office vending machine. I'm sincerely hoping JC got some sort of kickback for the shoutout in Something Special. Also, forgot how good the stuff is. Mmm, silky.
People read over my shoulder. People read over my shoulder. Must. Not. Read. Slash. In. Newsroom.
Quotes of the Day:
"He said 'Jesus loves me'? Oh, dear god."

Date: March 15th, 2004 06:05 pm (UTC)Florida weather, yo. No rhyme or reason. I expect the sun to be shining when I leave here at midnight.
Also, I totally need to come drop in on you. Right now, I'm looking at free time and the fiscal wherewithal to do so, so if you'll have me (time and opportunity permitting), let me know when.

Date: March 17th, 2004 04:07 pm (UTC)Oh yes, we need to visit. Absolutely. Since we both live in the most boring college towns ever, we need to find something to do over a visit.
This is where my friends' band comes in -- they're a wicked good funk band called the Soular System. They're playing a giant show, a voter registration benefit, on April 12th.
Anyway. Yes, we definitely need to get together before Challenge. We'll figure something out one way or another. :)
