Excuse me as I take a very deep breath...

And shout from the rooftops.

I'M GOING TO FRANCE THIS SUMMER!!!11!a million!!

An Amy just called to tell me CEA finished processing my application, and that congratulations, I've been accepted to study at the Sorbonne! For four weeks! I'm going to Fraaance!

I might need a minute. And a tissue. Because, France! The Sorbonne!

*squeesqueesquee!

Thank youuuuuuuu! I'm beyond ecstatic, but that's the highest LJ's happy spectrum goes. *g*

The program begins on the 1st of June and goes until the 28th of the same month - four-week program. Half the reason why I chose this specific program was because it was at the Sorbonne. The other half? It would get me back in time for Challenge, even if I cruised the continent before returning. It's a beautiful thing.

Cool! That's one of the reasons why I asked you. I wondered if you'd be back in time for CFTC. Priorities, man, you gotta have priorities. The boys are definitely a priority in my book. *g*

Oh, that was definitely the big caveat. My parents both took turns berating me for it, but man, it's Challenge, and incredibly special to me for so many reasons beyond getting to see the boys, which, let's not underrate that either. Challenge was non-negotiable, and I was just lucky enough to find a program with a good schedule where I wanted, with a later deadline for application than most. This whole thing was a bit of a cosmic convergence.
