it's understood that Hollywood sells Californication

[livejournal.com profile] jenbeth78 came through with more news on the boys performing together at CFTC, this time from Joey, who, while insisting that it's "top secret," revealed that they'll be singing the national anthem and possibly performing during the intermission.

The sound I made was loud and odd enough to draw the attention of the entire office. Which inevitably led to explanations as to "my boys," the event and that, yes, I like them and the music, thank you. There will be tears, mark my words, rivers and oceans of happy tears. I know JC and Joey have spotty records as far as their informant track records, but as a fan who, Grammy awards notwithstanding, has never seen them perform together live, I am excited right out my wits, I truly am. Living in hope isn't a bad place to be, right?

Miranda and I walked down the block to Denny's last night around midnight, something we haven't done for lamentably ever. They really do love us - we sat around for a good couple of hours just talking and getting our milkshakes for free. It was even a boy who brought it to our "yard!" Don't think we weren't making bad puns the whole time.

In other news, I did... dishes today. My mom called to say happy Easter and promised to cook a comparable meal when I come home in May. Love that woman, I dearly do. My stepfather liked his birthday card a lot - she said there may have been tears - so not too many points subtracted for not remembering to call on Friday. Whoo! And my little brother sounded happy, and mostly, that made my afternoon.

Someone hid an egg in the roll of paper towels left mysteriously at my desk. Cadbury caramel chocolate egg, my first of the season. Isn't that sad? Tomorrow's steep holiday candy sales, here I come.

Quote of the Day:

"No! JC said that? Our JC? *shocked* Except, you know, not. Because as the boy breathes, so he talks about sex."

hee! i saw the clips of it...it was like the people in the UK were all, "Mr. Chasez...you're up in 5." and he's all "sure thang...but let me just bend over this COKE first and snort it because then my true self will get out to the UK fans. you feelin me, cat?"

Never seen so much crack in my LIFE.

He dissed the El Gaucho. He lusted after Madge, and his best friend's ex. Pure crack.

I need to see this so badly. I had a friend download it for me since I'm still at work, but must seeeeeee as soon as I get home. Don't know what it is about these British talk show hosts that get JC on the honesty tip, but I've long been convinced that the foreign press should get to do all their interviews. Some of the stuff that's come out of Canada and the UK is absolutely priceless.

Yeah, my friend told me about the Madonna thing, but I'm thinking it's even better when I get to hear the tone of his voice. His best friend's ex? I could give a list, was he any more specific?

Bwahahahahaha! Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! That's crazy! Oh, JC. JC. My heart! I love you more every time you open your mouth. Oh, but that is the best. You know the only thing we're all thinking, right? Kinky fucker. ;) Good lord. My day's been made. Thank you, and good night.
