One hundred is about right...
May. 7th, 2004 09:34 pmFor how many different ways I love
without_me.
He sang it! And I got to listen! (And may have screamed 'cause she's such a sexy dame / I just can't control my thang right along with them.)
My friends, man. Wiping a tear here, seriously. I got bitten about seven times standing outside with the mosquitos to listen then chat afterward, but oh, so beyond worth it. She's the cat's pajamas, truly.
I'm to relay that the audience got a "mom-rated" version (as JC's was in attendance) of the first (and, granted, all-ages) show tonight - in Come To Me, he hummed over the masturbation line and walked his fingers along his side instead of down his front on creeping down real slow! Bwahahaha! He's so precious! And! And! He forgot the words to Dear Goodbye! Toward the end of the song, he had the audience sing, and when it was his turn again, he completely forgot what he was supposed to sing and cracked up for the rest of the song! (paraphrased) "Well, that was the first time I've had a total brain fart in the middle of a song, but that's okay, 'cause my mom loves me despite my faults." *dies* Love him. How can you not?
Who's broken now? Oh, hi, yes. Table for one, and keep the drinks coming. Or you know, the slightly tinny phone calls. *hugs everyone in Chicago*

Date: May 7th, 2004 07:03 pm (UTC)And hey, that's probably why he added the second show. I think the age requirement is what scared his mom away from the second show. She has to know what's gonna go down there. *lol*

Date: May 7th, 2004 11:04 pm (UTC)He probably added the second show because he wanted to do it like it's supposed to be done, and that's so cute in this control freaky way that makes me melty.

Date: May 7th, 2004 11:17 pm (UTC)But yeah, the waiting in line sucks. A lot. Especially as there may have been rain for the Chicago girls and we all know about New York and Boston in late December, right? My advice is, the earlier you can get there, the better, but don't stress if there are a few people ahead. Do what's comfortable for you and what you know you can tolerate.

Date: May 7th, 2004 11:21 pm (UTC)I know perfectly well I'm going to get jack at NYC because I'm getting there so late so Pittston's my only hope. Last time I heard the weather it was supposed to rain. I can't tolerate hardly anything but I know if I want to see I'm going to have to get there at ass crack of dawn.

Date: May 9th, 2004 08:27 pm (UTC)I had amazingly marvelous concert partners for this trip, but I can't say you weren't missed. I'm glad to have been able to share a little tiny bit of it with you.
