Heh. French!LiveJournal tells me that I'll find my main page under entrees recentes, which is an interesting metaphor. Makes it sound sort of like you're stepping into a coroner's office and reading the contents of my guts. Not entirely inaccurate.
On another random note, I really should've finished reading Anne Rice when I was of the age for it, because now, the melodramatic neo-gothic romance thing isn't so much rubbing me the right teenage-angst-soothing way.
Not that there was ever any doubt at all, but after a somewhat turbulent affair, Paris and I are truly, madly, and sing it with me now, deeply en amoureuse. At least I think that's how you say it. It'll break my heart to leave Wednesday, but my budget thanks me. We won't go into just how little the dollar is worth on the entire continent, because it'll only make me weep for all the chic little boutiques I had designs on yet. *le sigh*
However, this also means I'll be properly in the fold again very soon, a thought which wraps comfortingly around me too much like the anticipation of an impending high to contemplate too closely.
CFTC - Three parties? I don't remember the last time I did three parties in one weekend of my own volition, but this means I should get on that jetlag thing right quick upon my triumphant return, eh?
*sigh*
I don't ever really have to stop eating baguettes and smoking in restaurants and hanging out in the Louvre's courtyard and wear three layers just to conserve some modicrum of body heat in the middle of July or resign myself to mediocrity in pastries, do I? *pout*
There were things I wanted to say here, but the familiar knot of wanting to do too much and not having enough time or resources to get it all accomplished is starting to tighten. I owe replies, a lot of them, which will be gotten to, but for now, the city calls.

Date: July 12th, 2004 02:49 am (UTC)I think you need to lose the "en", here, and add an "s" at the end of "amoureuse". ;-)
Outside of that, it's lovely to read some news. You sound like your trip was more than wonderful and I'm happy for you. Very selfishly, though, I'm going to be happy that you're back in Florida, just because it'll mean I'll be able to read you more often. ;-)
And CFTC, uh? Watch me go completely green with envy. No, seriously, I look like Lorne right now. *sigh* Remember what you're supposed to say if you ever meet one of them, uh? ;-)
Have a safe trip home, darling!

Aaw, thanks hon. It's good to know my elaborate missives are, err, missed. *g*
