Oh my god, we so do. He's just. I flailed through the whole movie, from the heckling at his presentation to his wonder at seeing the stargate for the first time, asking Jack to "Wait for me" when he took Sha'uri back to the sarcophagus. I loved that the movie was from his perspective, that we got to experience the wonder of it because of him. It's like when Rodney's voice goes breathy and high, but that never lasts, he's already onto breaking it down to its component parts, turning it into things he can catalogue and define. And while Daniel does the same, the never loses sight of the initial wow.

Maybe we could make it dinner this time and watch a couple of things afterward?
