it's so cool to have someone appreciate your company as much as you appreciate theirs. when they appreciate your sense of humor, make the effort to draw you into their world instead of just trying to dump theirs or draw yours out, give real hugs, and look at you like you're as special as your third grade teacher told you all along. i would've gladly cooked dinner myself and lost that Scrabble bout if it meant i could spend the kind of quality interactive time with the 'rents that i got to indulge in anyway. some lox and Buffy chocolate, a lot of Smallville, some more self-indulgent gushing about The Sexy, and a helluva grand finale evening later i sit here basking, sated and mushy at the nougat center at the easy camaraderie and genuine friendship between us. ::clinks glass:: a toast to letting our inner extrovert run amuck.
