Can I just say that right at this moment, I couldn't be more thankful that I don't have to go to my local library and ask a tiny old lady with a neat bun and a wool skirt that goes all the way to the floor for the "identity porn" stacks. INTERNET HOW I LOVE THEE

Oh god, this fandom and its WIPs. I caved, and you KNOW my policy against WIPs was iron-clad until now. So many amazing things though - detective AUs and strip club AUs and on and on. And yes, kink memes, while an excellent fannish device for putting great ideas out where the writers can choose to make them real, are incredibly frustrating to track. But! I come bearing an offering: my Charles/Erik Delicious bookmarks. I know we don't always see eye-to-eye on fic, but it's all good stuff.

Oh, so long since we've shared a fandom. I wasn't around for Inception or The Social Network (which I actually haven't seen), whose popularity is baffling, tbh. But yeah, I fell out of fandom when everyone was all Supernatural all the time, which I still haven't seen any of, and every other fandom I've wanted to delve into since has been too small to have a real community built around it.

OMG watch the movie. It's so good. Ignore all the haters, ignore the era's politics, ignore everything and everyone who's not Charles and Erik. I spent the film texting Brandon about the beauty of the biggest, gayes love any summer blockbuster has ever known.

My dozen or so video treatments, plus an entire fucking CONCEPT ALBUM, know nothing about drawing up songvid storyboards but not actually having the know-how to make them. There are Adobe Premier lessons in my future, someday.
