by jenn. of the novel(la)-length futurefics I've been rereading just any random paragraph of lately when in need of engaging plot and achingly honest characterization. jenn of Closer to Breathing, one of the most honest and authentic fanfictions I've ever read that has me holding my breath until the "Thank God" that may well belong to either one of them or the reader. jenn of "packing boxes drooling bubble paper and tissue stuffing," she of the Lex in A Handful of Dust, jenn of the *happy* ending futurefic that made me *cry,* living proof that publishing houses have *no business* hiring people like Kevin J. Anderson, who sacrifice character growth, history, and interaction for purposes of plot.

so I scream to you from this high of unearthly heights: Life.Is.Good.

who the hell am I kidding? life has been so fan-fucking-tastic I fear for my well-being when it goes back to its inevitable grind.

three days it's been up at the archive and I've received simply lovely feedback from my eternally supportive troika of indulgence, several wonderful and perceptive people from the mailing lists, and Hope, Wendi, and Jenn.
