Bliss is...
Jul. 11th, 2002 11:23 pm-velvety hot cocoa on a balmy Florida night on my own little air-conditioned oasis, with extra heavy whipped cream I can't muster a single cell to feel guilty about.
-making good friends laugh.
-making yourself laugh.
-having nothing other or better to do than tinker with HTML for an entire day.
-being inundated with good music because your download service of choice has finally decided to cooperate.
-getting feedback and acknowledgement from people you look up to.
-jenn. and jenn. and jenn.
-having nails pretty and long enough to polish.
-cozy red sweaters.
-Roxette - I Wish I Could Fly
-discussing fic that seems to have endless layers. Just discussion period, because while gratuitous drooling is all well and good, my skull filling has been going *seriously* neglected. Mmm, stimulation. Thinking, you gutterchildren.
-a renewed sense of purpose. I looked over some old pictures for my biography page today and felt I had to start doing right by the ambitious little funloving spitfire in them.
Addendum: I'm choked up. I'd hoped no one would hurt me tonight, and fortunately, I'm just all kinds of happy messy goop after Kitty Fisher's latest installment in the (::fans self::) Blood Sports series. Love her. I did.
Addendum the Second: A happier birthday I couldn't wish to Michael Rosenbaum. Love, luck, and chocolate by the organic produce cratesful to you, good sir.

Date: July 17th, 2002 09:12 am (UTC)One, I am a sadly, irreversibly and inherently flawed person who doesn't return phone calls with any semblance of promptness. I got your message, I just haven't made it as far as pressing the redial button. Two, I *will* give you a call this evening and we can coordinate to our hearts' content. And thirdly because occasionally I underestimate myself, I'm always and eminently reachable on email. Sigh. We're going on 30 hours here and doing fine, I *swear* it so.
The British thing started somewhere around 2. God help us all if someone doesn't slip something in my orange juice soon. :)

Date: July 19th, 2002 10:45 pm (UTC)P.S. I don't do healthy sleep. There's a reason why none of my classes next semester start before 1:50. So the three hour difference should just about break us even. :)

Date: July 22nd, 2002 07:11 pm (UTC)Ooh, and congrats on managing to pull off a schedule like that -- I've never been able to not schedule morning classes, but perhaps I just wasn't dedicated enough *g*
