Eleven Things That Have Changed in My Life Since Last September 11th:

I know and trust myself much more, occasionally even listening to the better senses.

I wrote my first pieces of fanfiction.

I reclaimed the one outdoor sport I've ever loved and made it my own.

I was reminded about the immeasurable difference good friends make more times over than I can pay tribute.

I discovered Smallville and never looked back.

I became a United States citizen.

I tasted reality and know well the deepest recesses of the fandom abyss.

I worked up the guts and now have about one-eighth the hair with quintuple the cool.

I have a more clearly defined idea of what I want to do with my life and am taking classes and pursuing opportunities to make that happen.

I discovered love, virtue, soul, and intense amusement in that most forbidden of all genres, Pop Music.

I am happy.


They told me to keep going. To continue to live my life proud to be free in America.
A year well-spent, I'd say. Hope you've made a difference in yours.
The other list of things I've yet to accomplish?
Take it one day at a time and live better.

I guess the new philosophy makes twelve.

Sounds like alot of growth and learning about yourself to me. And that's always a good thing. May your next year produce more of the same.

Thanks very much on that. The first half of last year is not a time I remember fondly, but more than that, I really do think I have come a long way. Cheers to all of us and here's hoping the next one only gets better.
