just that good, I guess
Nov. 8th, 2002 09:03 amWhat was I doing awake at 8:24 this morning, just in time to catch the announcement that coming up next on Today, Justin Timberlake would perform on the Plaza?
I don't want to consider the ramifications of being quite *that* in tune with the rather disconcerting in its reach news network devoted to the puppies.
Anyhow: Yeee!! Justin in the Plaza!!! There's a nice image to roll over to in bed. ;) Bleary-eyed and thanking my lucky stars that I didn't actually have to *get out* of bed as I fell asleep with the remote last night from taping the rerun of Leno, I huddled more snugly from the nippy north-central Florida air and watched.
He was so cold! There was much less jacket-grabbing than usual. Poor goober, Katie even offered him her coffee.
Katie: "Are *NSYNC *ntact?" She's a clever girl, that one. She introduced him as a blues man, too, which made Justin blush even through the pinch the cold had done to his cheeks.
So cute! Just. Very, very sweet, happy boy. ::basks:: I'll spare everyone my singing about sunshine.
I thought this quote summed the experience up nicely. Especially when you think about how early some of those people must've gotten there to see him perform. ::shudder::
Regis: "It's gonna get up to 65 degrees tomorrow."
Kelly: "You say that like it's warm!"
"I want cookies, I don't want bread that's short."
Oh, Regis. I feel his pain though. Thin Mints all the way, baby.
::burrows back under covers, mumbling about obscene hours and no class until two::
