Four things that scare me:
[1] cockroaches
[2] doing something for the first time
[3] driving fast on a road with other cars
[4] ending up in a job I hate despite having a college degree
Four people who make me laugh (in no particular order):
[1] Dennis Miller
[2] all my friends
[3] Robin Williams
[4] my Grammar Guy
Four things I love:
[1] good writing (totally subjective, of course)
[2] Chinese food
[3] winter and its sports
[4] puns! Even the bad ones!
Four things I hate:
[1] mosquitoes
[2] insincerity
[3] lying
[4] backstabbing. Don't mind it quite so much in my front though.
Four things I don't understand:
[1] reluctance to express reasoned opinions for fear that they'll be controversial
[2] not doing something for fear you'll look foolish
[3] why the speed of light is the say-all, end-all posted limit in the universe
[4] how it is that less than 10% of the world's population controls more than 90% of the wealth

[2] mock Justin beanie from American Eagle
[3] Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
[4] Body Shop Beurre Corporel in Nut
Four things I'm doing right now:
[1] writing Lance angst. You may feel free to show your surprise.
[2] downloading music. University firewall foiled by the Gnutella network, yeyeah.
[3] sorting photos. You don't want to know how many or how meticulously.
[4] assessing my resources to determine which *NSYNC song I can learn the choreography to by four o'clock tomorrow. It's an assignment for Acting. Yes, really.
Four facts about me:
[1] I tend to be quiet and reserved until properly provoked.
[2] Saying the right thing at the right moment will get you much too far with me. I'm a sucker for movie moments.
[3] Some things fill me with so much overwhelming emotion that my toes ache with keeping it inside.
[4] I'm an angstmongrel who wants happy endings.
Four things I want to do before I die:
[1] make a living in entertainment reporting
[2] fall in love
[3] win a writing award
[4] live on Manhattan Island
Four things I can do:
[1] dance, and that's the real kind, not the kind that consists entirely of shaking my ass. I'm a fast learner, too.
[2] sing, apparently, given the right song and proper volume parameters.
[3] write well, given the proper set of circumstances.

[1] draw
[2] bowl, except for the occasional fluke.
[3] write poetry
[4] lie

[1] that 'ass-u-me' thing
[2] people who tell you to be happy with where you are on your age timeline
[3] 'pop' music without being outrightly dismissive
[4] people who know what they're talking about
Four things I don't think you should listen to, ever:
[1] people who say be happy with what you've got, period.
[2] anyone who tells you that life sucks. Even when one might think so it doesn't, and it's a damn sight better than the alternative.
[3] people who don't actually *know* what they're talking about
[4] people who in any way defend any purported rights child molesters may have

In other news, my love for Lance continues to deepen unchecked. I'm working up the will to do my laundry for our sojourn to Atlanta this weekend and giving consideration to what sharing a living space with someone like myself would be like other than neither of us having to walk home alone in the cold.
My Moment of Zen? Thirty-five vials of Bubonic plague were lost, then recovered, and now pose no risk of public safety. Ye-huh.
