Human weakness and susceptibility be damned, I believe passion to be absolutely vital to our everyday survival, regardless of any possible adverse effect. It is now infinitely clear to me why it is that people sacrifice life, limb, and contentment for the possibility of something more, something so intense and overpowering that they can do naught but surrender.
