pop_reference regarding the lawsuit with Pearlman/BMG. Apparently, JC's deposition was released. Still pending on that; however, I have found chats with Lou, the boys collectively, and Chris' mom, Bev. Lou's session was basically comprised of badly-spelled indignances on behalf of the boys, which was adorable. And Bev asking people not to send money, which was just achy-sweet to hear.
Apparently, Lou did in fact knowingly and willingly made them continue on even after knowing Lance's health was at risk. *rages quietly* The whole thing only becomes more ugly with each new detail that surfaces.
ETA: Fans organized concurrent rallies for the guys in New York and Orlando and Los Angeles at Planet Hollywood! They petitioned Congress to pass new legislation to protect recording artists! That's just. Wow.
And good god, people were practically donating organs to get *NSYNC concert tickets. I'm sure there were some who would've, were it an option. Good lord.
The Smoking Gun is a fabulously nosy resource. Tour riders ("Ambience is very important." Eew, they like Aquafina. Barq's Red Creme Soda and chocolate Pop Tarts. Justin's Oreo Os and Cap'n Crunch)! The lawsuit against Justin! Joey and Kelly's Babies 'R Us gift registry! The burglary incident report of Justin and Brit's Florida apartment! (Did actual video tape details ever surface?)
In other news, it seems very much like we're watching American Idol on Tuesday night, all because I let Miranda near the Simon interview on Conan. She's all, "He's got a great smile!" and "I might be a little in love with him." I drew the line at "He's dreamy" and caved.
Something will get written this weekend, and fuck me but it probably won't be Joey challenge fic.
Question: Do you guys hang out when you're not on tour?
Justin: Unfortunately, yes.
Lance: We are that sick and desperate. We have no friends.
Justin: I dependent say that, Lance -- I didn't say that, Lance. We hang out together. We go to the movies and we like to go shopping. Just long walks in the parks. Horseback riding. And things that just make you feel good.
