Could've taken a trip down to Orlando to meet Joey, but I was up until fiveish again and would've had to shower and get the hell outta dodge in record time to hopefully make it there. Having met him in New York (not to mention there being something very sketch about the whole setup) and having done a thorough cost-benefit analysis that took into consideration the aforementioned (especially since the first thing I did after waking up much too early was take not-nearly-industrial-strength-enough pain relievers - not counting the Pill, I haven't taken anything in non-vitamin since the most massive two-day upper respiratory infection ever of Thanksgiving weekend), I went against my usually prevailing roadtrip girl instincts (one of the classic examples of the Anyway Phenomenon) and elected to stay home.

Instead, I put together a package for a friend, answered looooong-overdue e-mail *insert more chagrined groveling to the lovely

trixiesfic* and wrote Joey challenge fic. Which actually may have a chance of being done before midnight. Now, I'm gonna buy Einstein Notes for PR, get food somewhere and hole up in Starbucks to work on said story.

And possibly find stronger drugs. Ow.
