So very, very pretty. Today, we all celebrate The Matrix Reloaded. Our dear boy may seem dressed for the occasion, but do not be fooled! These shirts are the rule, not the exception to his closet, and really, if he were a woman he'd be showing cleavage with that neckline. And his cuffs! How much do I love that both he and Joey prefer their shirts over the knuckles, too? Lucky him that he got to be there with all the pretty stars of the movie, but lucky them for getting a glimpse of our pretty, happy, however conspicuously-tanned boy.
And pretty Bassez-licious canon to boot! T'was a good night.

"Um, no," Joey said later after Chris propositioned him, "sorry."
"Straight?" Chris sighed, and Joey nodded. "Fuck. Fuck you, Joe. Really. I'm horny."
"There's always Lance," Joey said helpfully. "But um, I guess not. he had that blond guy, right? And probably wouldn't, you know, you, because, well, he's all about avoiding having sex with people he'd actually have a chance with, you know. And, um, oops." Joey clasped his hand over his mouth. "Um, and, um, Lance is straight; I didn't say anything. fuck. So, no."
"No, indeed," Chris muttered, "and you're sure you're straight?"
"Sorry, man," Joey said, "these things happen."
Chris sighed. "Don't they."
Susie recced the story that hooked me on TrickyFish earlier, but this is the one that made me buy the stock. I often find the Lance in TrickyFish stories to be more poised and confident, whereas the Chris in the scenario tends to be less secure and, well, able, than in other pairings. He's no longer the wise old man - Lance is no longer the good Southern virgin. And yet, they share something in their characters, some different kind of vulnerability, and it's only the two of them who seem to have the faculties to work through each others' defense mechanisms to resolve them. Fascinating.
That and, well, Rhys can be fucking amazingly witty, yo.
And JC mah jongg is my bitch. Thank you, everybody, and good night.

Hee. *blush* Thank you, darlin'. If only it were contagious, right? All the world should revel in the popslash, yo. Look at all the smart beautiful people milling about! I know there's no other room I'd want to be having cocktails in. *toasts the fandom*

Although I think you forgot "amazing." Hee!

Date: May 16th, 2003 12:30 am (UTC)Aack! Some fan I am. *hangs head* God though, how much did we all love the bungalow tour? 'Isn't that something?' is only second to 'amazing' you know.
I'd meant to ask - I made the mistake of not downloading the Good Morning LA clip with Getright and it *appears* to cut off at the end. Could you tell me how yours ends so I can ascertain whether it's actually the full clip that I have?
