Day Twenty-One

Oh, the men of *NSYNC and their love affair with flower embroidery. Though that's not an entirely fair assessment, given that I mostly mean JC and Lance, but they do a bang-up job of compensating for the others' slack. This latest attempt at starting up some sort of fence-sitting flower child/military brat fashion merger is just a small part of why I love the industriously illustrious Mr. Bass.
Really though I don't even know what I'm talking about, because this picture is all about the neckline.
We're gonna get bellybutton glimpses soon. Hey, maybe *he'll* do a parody of Jennifer Lopez's dress! With Joey as Puff Daddy! Or no, no! JC! In a white suit! Being pimpy, even with the green hankie in his right back pocket! Could you just imagine?
Ahem. Onward.
Kiss by Synchronik
Joey was hazy on how it started, but kissing Lance became another of the pre-show rituals, before the vocalizations and the prayer, because, Justin said, it seemed sacrilegious to put your tongue in someone's mouth after saying "amen."
Justin and his selective scruples. *rubs his fuzzy head* I have a real weakness for kissing. Like, seriously: I'm one of those deal immediately broken if the making out is bad people. And this trend in fic of kissing Lance as pre-show ritual is another one of those things that makes me go hmm. Joey/Lance eventually, which is as it should be, written by Synchronik which means you'll probably laugh amid the drama and it'll always have a happy ending, all set to Prince! Everyone's a winner here.

Date: May 21st, 2003 09:53 pm (UTC)Honestly, these boys mostly provide their own ammuni-- err, material (imo, some of the best anywhere). Especially Lance, for all his virtues and foibles. I'm glad you're enjoying my two cents' worth on it!

They really do provide lovely, um, targets, don't they? The clothing alone could provide hours of amusement. And has! But I really love your pictures and recs, so, yes. Thanks again!

Date: May 21st, 2003 10:17 pm (UTC)Good *god* that icon!
*composes herself* Yow. Yes. Back on topic, it's totally below the nipples! I've been saying, it may've started out modestly enough but if he were a girl, there would've been cleavage two buttons ago. However, he is not, and I, too, give thanks for international space flight fitness requirements. Good on him that he feels like flaunting after spending years in baggy pants and coats.

Date: May 22nd, 2003 10:02 pm (UTC)Sounds like a request to me. *g* And what kind of fan would I be if I didn't live to serve? Yes, I've noticed the lovely new trend of worn denim, which is already a very happily sensitive spot of fashion for me. Lance and his "busting" package! I've done the leather pants already, but the denim definitely deserves its own rightful mention. And the cowboy boots ranging in every style from Wizard of Oz red to snakeskin! Proper Southern boy, I love him so. Good on him for getting over his lower body issues.

Date: May 22nd, 2003 04:57 pm (UTC)But sadly, that is not my real reason for commenting. It is, in fact, because I was cruising the MTV site and couldn't find the date for Striptified in the area that you said it was in, so was just slightly concerned there might have been date changes?
http://www.mtv.com/bands/tourdates/justified.jhtml
It lists these two:
7/14/2003 St. Pete Times Forum Tampa, FL
7/15/2003 TD Waterhouse Centre Orlando, FL
But nothing about the place you were talking about? Or was it just added? I suppose if you have tickets, it must be? Hmmm. And did the TM reassign the Challenge tix yet?
Sorry for the interrogation, just trying to get my facts sorted out :-) Thanks!

Date: May 22nd, 2003 10:27 pm (UTC)Well, I have the tickets sent by Ticketmaster in my bag as we speak and they've been advertising for it, so shame on mtv.com and their factchecking honchos because there's most emphatically a show going down at the Office Depot Center on July 16th. It's listed weirdly on Ticketmaster.com though, but trust me, it's there.
As far as Challenge tickets, it's about done giving me the ulcer I shouldn't genetically have until 30, so first thing tomorrow they're getting the most civilly irate (I'll play nice, promise) phone call ever. This charade needs to end, like, a week ago. It's been a week, get it together, you know? So yes, that.

Date: May 22nd, 2003 10:40 pm (UTC)We figured they probably just hadn't put up some of the added dates or something, since they wouldn't be selling tickets otherwise. And this way, we'll have better chances of getting good seats day-of, right? :-)
Challenge tix -- bah on them! Let me know if there's anything I can do to help. This shouldn't be as annoying as it is and I can ring up the fan club if they need some prodding along with TM. I'll have my cell on me, at any rate.
Sigh. You're not on IM tonight and I have to be up early tomorrow for work, but will try to catch you tomorrow to see what's up, both in terms of plannage and just in general. Hope you had a good day!
