I mean, come now, I'm sure there actually *are* people out there who have broken up with their significant others by singing Bye Bye Bye on their answering machines.

Chris arched his eyebrows and waited.

Chris laughed and Lance grimaced and Chris wondered if maybe Lance wasn't just a little drunker than he appeared.

"God, we've pretty much ruined that phrase, haven't we?"

So this new black&white headshot of JC? People talk about pictures you can't look at directly - I'm having to take this in in pieces. Maybe if I know what to expect from all angles, I won't be too overwhelmed by the gestalt of the whole. Though that will remain to be seen no matter how well I've got the curve of his lower lip and the layers of his hair memorized.

The transformation is sometimes awe-inspiring to behold. Poor kid that any of it must exist for *anyone,* much less millions of people around the world, to see. But they mostly don't bring it up and love him pretty unconditionally, and I suppose the whole international popstar thing is a pretty strong karmic equalizer.

That was my long-winded verion of 'Lance is indeed very, very hot.'
